Blog Evaluation

This blog process was very interesting. It was like writing in my journal but for everyone else to read it and express their opinion on it. I’m actually pretty bad at writing in my journal so I thought this whole blog thing who be a bit of pain. It actually was to be honest but at the same time it was fun. I enjoyed writing about the random things I do and think about. The fact that I actually had a deadline forced me to think about what I did each day, what I learned, and what upcoming plans I had. Using the blog as a source of documentation was very significant for me. I was able to express how my first year of college was going and I was able to let things out that I wanted to say but didn’t really know how. This blog assignment allowed me to have written memories of my freshman experience.

I loved that I was actually able to write the way I would normally speak for the first time in an English class. I thought that was the most amazing part of the assignment, no grading on grammatical errors or improper use of words, was an amazing feeling. I loved every minute of it.

Through doing this blog assignment I found that I actually got to know my classmates a lot better even though I don’t really talk to them much when I saw them. The blog gives me a sense of who they are. Overall the blog assignment wasn’t that bad, but will I continue?, I’m not sure. I think if I do decide to continue it would be for my own personal entertainment, but we’ll see.
